The idea for this exhibition is a result of an invitation from one of the São Rock Climbing owners, who approached me one day and said: “I started following you on Instagram recently and your paintings remind me of climbing holds. Would you like to exhibit at São Rock Climbing?”.
In the past months I was painting mostly with shades of purple. Funnily enough, the week of the exhibition opening a long awaited order of purple climbing holds has arrived at the gym and the DJ scheduled for weekly friday event was @purple.tempura.
I presented a series of oil paintings on canvas and a videomapping to accompany the inauguration.
